Joseph Pilates developed this holistic exercise system in the early 1900s, drawing inspiration from many different forms of movement including boxing, weight training, yoga, martial arts, and ballet. The Pilates method of exercise offered a chance to improve physical performance and recovery from injury.
Joseph concluded that within any sport discipline, both the mental and physical elements had to be respected – this relationship formed the foundation of Pilates.
Pilates can be performed with or without specialist equipment, and provides a balanced, whole-body exercise programme.

You can't freeze your Core Connexion Daily subscription but you can cancel at any time.
Please note: Subscription must be cancelled before the payment date as refunds cannot be given.
You'll need an exercise mat but that's pretty much it! Many of our classes only use the mat to make each session as acceessible as possible.
Check out the Props Collection for classes with the Pilates Circle, Small Ball, Resistance Bands and Free Weights.
Most classes also offer alternatives if you don't have the exact same props at home.

All our Instructors, whether you're training with us online or in studio, are fully qualified Pilates Instructors with a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Plus, many also have qualifications in personal training, yoga, barre and physio so you know you'll always be in safe hands.
We accept only card payments, which are processed online via your Momence account.
