Retreat TERMS & CONDITIONS

By accessing our website, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of service, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws.

BOOKING

Your booking is a contract, with us, Core Connexion Retreats Limited, (Company number 15502740) (referred to as ‘Core Connexion, ‘us’, ‘we’ or ‘our’ after this), our registered office is Dairy House Moneyrow Green, Holyport, Maidenhead, Berkshire, Sl6 2ND, and you, referred to as the ‘your’ or ‘you’ after this, in respect of a retreat at the place and accommodation, provided with the included activities as set out in the email booking, (the ‘Retreat).

The email booking and these Booking Terms and Conditions referred to as the ‘Booking’ after this.

The Booking will become a binding contract when you pay the deposit for the Retreat.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept any Booking if you are under eighteen.

COST

To confirm your Booking we ask for a non-refundable deposit per person that is required to secure Your booking with Us, (the ‘Deposit’).

For any Booking made less than 42 days before the Retreat arrival date, (in the Booking), you will need to pay the total Cost of the Retreat to confirm the Booking.

The balance payable, set out in the Booking, (the ‘Balance’) must be paid by You to Us in cleared funds no later than six weeks before the Retreat arrival date.

You must make sure your bank account can make credit/debit card payments and that there is enough money in your account to pay for the trip on or before the Payment Due Date.

If the Balance is not received by the applicable Due Date then the Booking will be treated as cancelled.

We will make a reasonable effort to advise you on the status of the failed payments by email.

The Total Cost includes all of the items set out in the Booking unless otherwise confirmed to You in writing by Us.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Total Costs does not include, amongst other things, your flights, travel insurance, health insurance, other travel costs or any other activities or trips.

COOLING OFF PERIOD

There is no cooling-off period when Booking any of our Retreats.

DOCUMENTATION, VISAS AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS

You are responsible for checking and obtaining prior to the Retreat all valid visas, documentation, and other health requirements.

We do not accept any responsibility or liability in respect of any documentation, visas, health requirements or alike required.

ACCOMMODATION

The Retreat starts at the time and date stated in the Booking, unless otherwise confirmed in writing by us to you. You can check-in at the Accommodation set out in the Booking from that time onwards.

The Retreat ends at the time and date stated in the Booking.

INSURANCE

You are responsible for arranging your own travel/health insurance for the duration of the Retreat and to cover the activities of the Retreat.  If you do not take adequate insurance, you accept full liability for any loss that may occur to yourself in respect of the Retreat.

We have suitable public liability insurance in place for the Retreat.

LIABILITY

We are not liable for any changes to the Retreat and / or Booking in any way.

We are not excluding liability where it is unlawful to do so, including for death, injury or illness caused by the negligent act and / or omissions of our employees or agents or subcontractors whilst acting within the scope of their employment in the provision of the Retreat.

We are not liable to you for the failure of any third party to provide any aspect of the Retreat particularly where the failure is unforeseeable, unavoidable, or unusual including being beyond our control.

CONDUCT AND ABILITY

You agree and undertake (promise) that you will not conduct yourself in a manner on the Retreat where your behaviour may be considered unreasonable and / or such that it will or is impairing the enjoyment, comfort and / or health of others.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you are sufficiently fit and healthy to undertake any physical activity whilst on the Retreat and you undertake such physical activity at your own choice.

You undertake to let us know by the Balance payment date of any medication or health concerns that you may have which will prevent you from full participation in any physical activity.

You undertake to notify the appropriate representative of our Company immediately if you experience any injury or discomfort whilst at the Retreat.

CANCELLATION OR TERMINATION

It is your responsibility to read and understand our Terms of Service before making a reservation.

If you need to cancel any booking, cancellation fees will apply. Any notice of cancellation must be provided in writing, and all transaction fees from our payment gateway will be deducted from your refund.

Please refer to the following for a breakdown of applicable cancellation fees:

If you cancel 120 days or more before your Start Date, you will be refunded the full amount paid up to that date, less any transaction fees imposed by our payment gateway, and excluding the per person deposit which is non-refundable.

If you cancel between 60 - 120 days before your Start Date, you will be refunded 50% of any sums paid, less any transaction fees imposed by our payment gateway, and excluding the per person deposit which is non-refundable.

Cancellations 60 days or less before the Start Date of your Retreat are non-refundable and will result in a forfeit of any and all sums paid.

Due to our need to commit to accommodation and other arrangements in advance, exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason.

VARIATION

We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the Retreat and / or the Booking as may be necessary from time to time.

If Core Connexion has to cancel or change the Start Date of any Retreat, for any reason whatsoever, you’re entitled to a refund of payments made by You to Us.

LATE ARRIVALS/EARLY DEPARTURES

We do not offer credit for arriving late to our Retreat or departing early.

By booking any retreat with Us you agree to be bound by and adhere to all policies and rules.
